Is Sara Ali Khan being considered for Remo D’Souza’s dance flick?

After Katrina Kaif’s decision of not working in Remo D’Souza’s dance flick, the producers of the movie are reportedly busy talking to other actresses to step into Katrina’s shoe. There are rumours that Sara Ali Khan will be roped in for the dance film.

However, the speculations are rife that the ‘October’ actor wants his ‘ABCD 2’ co-star Shraddha Kapoor to be brought on board.

When Kumar was earlier asked about the actresses, he had said, “Yes, definitely, he’s there, we are starting (the shoot) on January 22, as per the schedule. We will soon be announcing the cast, we have shortlisted two-three A-listers for the new girl.”

However, an industry source told DNA, “With Shraddha on board, it would be a reunion of the ABCD 2 trio, along with Varun and Remo. They have an equation and that would help in their collaborating on another dance flick.”

‘Kedarnath’ actor is also being considered for the same role. The source told the daily, “The other strong contender for the role is Sara Ali Khan. She has proved her acting chops in ‘Kedarnath’ and has been appreciated in ‘Simmba’ too. Signing her would also mean a fresh new onscreen pair. And Varun and Sara together are bound to generate tremendous buzz for this dance movie. So yes, the makers are definitely looking at the advantage of casting Sara for the film.”

Sara made her acting debut in Bollywood last year and people are lauding her performances for ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Simmba’. Her latest release ‘Simmba’ is still performing well at the ticket office window. Directed by Rohit Shetty, ‘Simmba’ stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan in the lead.
