Sara Ali Khan unveils new motion poster of Ae Watan Mere Watan, calls it a ‘story of bravery’ – WATCH

Among many, Sara Ali Khan is all set to sway her fans with her new avatar as a freedom fighter in her upcoming movie Ae Watan Mere Watan. Ace filmmaker Karan Johar also shared a glimpse of the actress from the upcoming movie and it will leave you rooting for more!

Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar and Sara Ali Khan took to their respective Instagram handles to share a glimpse of her from the Kannan Iyer directorial. He shared the video and wrote, “Aazad aawazein, qaid nahi hoti. Presenting the motion poster of a film very very dear to my heart. A story of bravery that I believe deserves to be told- and I’m honoured to be a part of that telling.”

Sara Ali Khan is all geared to play the role of Gandhian and Indian freedom fighter Usha Mehta. She is wearing a white cotton saree with a black border. Her hair is tied in a braid and she is wearing a black bindi on her forehead.

A while ago, in May, Sara took to her Instagram handle to share some glimpses from the upcoming movie. The first photo showcased her sitting in a hand-pulled rickshaw. Whereas the second pic only showcased her eyes while her face was covered with a clapboard. In the third picture, Sara came together for a pic with director Kannan Iyer.

Sharing the glimpses, Sara wrote, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” – Mahatma Gandhi (folded hands emoji). Thank you Kannan sir for choosing me to portray this powerful character; a true personification of strength, dignity and passion.
