Sara Ali Khan on working with Imtiaz Ali: He’s the most nurturing and compassionate director ever

Sara Ali Khan is just two films old but she has already made her way to people’s heart thanks to her down-to-earth attitude. She is beautiful and talented in equal measure. Where other actors are still hoping to get a chance to work with Imtiaz Ali, Sara has already finished his next directorial.

Naturally, the actress is over the moon after working with one of the most sought after directors in Bollywood. In this untitled Imtiaz Ali directorial, Sara is paired opposite Kartik Aaryan.

Sharing her experience of working with the ‘Rockstar’ director, Sara told Firstpost,“Working with Imtiaz Ali is truly like a dream-come-true moment for every actor. He is the most nurturing, most compassionate director ever.”

“He takes you right in the zone before the scene, but he lets you do what you have to do. He will make sure you don’t go off-track, but he is so giving. I am missing being on set with him already, I can’t tell you, I am so lucky to have the opportunity to work with him,” she further added.

Sara will also be opposite Varun Dhawan in ‘Coolie No 1’. Opening up about reprising Karisma’s role in the film, Sara told the portal, “To be able to do justice with what Karisma has done is going to be difficult. I have spoken with Varun about this, and I don’t think that it’s our job to take the stress of that, because if we will get bogged up about it, then we might not perform well.”
