Richa Chadha, who would be seen in the forthcoming biopic ‘Sarbjit‘, had said at the trailer launch event that Sarabjit Singh stayed in touch with his family through the letters he had written while serving the prison sentence in Pakistan. These emotions of Sarabjit, later on went to become the research material for the makers who were making this biopic based on him and his tragic life.
Few days ago, in memory of Sarabjit Singh, the makers had released a letter written by him, on his third death anniversary and following this, they have again posted a new letter that was written to his old and ailing father. This was shared on the official Facebook page of the film.
Similar to the visuals, this letter is bound to make you teary-eyed when you read and feel the pain of an old father missing his son who was jailed mistakenly.
‘Sarbjit’ stars Randeep Hooda playing the titular role of Sarabjit Singh whereas Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would be seen living the part of Dalbir Kaur, sister of Sarabjit who struggled for 23 years to get her brother freedom and justice.
This Omung Kumar directorial is slated to release on May 20, 2016.
