Satish Kaushik death: Anupam Kher, Javed Akhtar, Raj Babbar arrive to pay their last respect

Actor Satish Kaushik died after suffering a heart attack but his death news shocked the entire nation. His fans and the film fraternity are mourning his demise on social media but there are some of his close friends who visited the late actor’s Mumbai residence to pay their last respect. Stars like Anupam Kher, Javed Akhtar, Raj Babbar and others were spotted outside his residence.

After their arrival, Anupam Kher spoke about his best friend to the media. He was heard saying, “Aise koi medical shikayat nahi thi Satish Kaushik ji ko (He had no medical complaints) I don’t think there’s anything. It’s just that it had to happen and unfortunately it happened.”

The Shiv Shashtri Balboa actor further added, “And we all came from a middle class, lower-middle-class families and apne balbute pe yaha apna naam kamaya, mehnat pe apna naam kamaya, film abhi complete ki Kaagaz 2, dusri film banane ki soch rahe the saath mein and naatak karne ki soch rahe the mere saath. Unhone kaha yaar do logon ka natak karte hai, young logon ka natak karte hai and that’s it (We earned a name here, on our own, earned a name by our hard work, we completed shooting for Kaagaz 2. We were thinking of making another film together and were thinking of doing a play on young people)”

Reportedly, Satish Kaushik’s mortal remains have been discharged from the DDU (Deen Dayal Upadhyay) hospital in Delhi. The funeral is said to take place in Mumbai in the presence of his family and friends.

Satish Kaushik complained of breathlessness hours before his death. According to Hindustan Times, Satish’s manager, Santosh Rai told the media, “I had brought him to the hospital. He slept at 10.30 pm and called me at 12.10 am, complaining of breathlessness.”
