Satyagraha brings Common Man’s Power on Big Screen

Prakash Jha is known to make political thrillers. In his recent, Satyagraha  he has focused on the common man, his struggle, aggression and demand for justice. The movie has an impressive cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. As it is solo release it gives it a chance to hold the audience in its grip.

As per sources, the trailer depicts Big B going on an indefinite hunger strike just like Anna Hazare in a Gandhian manner to demand justice. But Jha denied it saying, “The film is not based on Anna Hazare and has nothing to do with the movement. The entire process of ‘Satyagraha’ comes from Gandhiji. Mr.Bachchan plays the role of a ‘Satyagrahi’ who believes in truth.”

A film is a mirror to the society and how convincingly and logically Satayagraha follows the plight of the common man, the weekend shall decide.
