‘Secret Superstar’ will definitely release in China: Aamir Khan

Last year, Aamir Khan’s wrestling drama ‘Dangal’ turned out to be one of the highest grossers not only in India but broke records in China too. So, overwhelmed was Aamir with the response to the movie in China, the actor intends to release his latest ‘Secret Superstar’ in China too. Speaking about the same, the actor said, ” ‘Secret Superstar’ will definitely release in China in next one or two months. We are working on the planning aspect of it.” He spoke about his plans to release the movie in China, at the success party which was held by director Advait Chandan.

The actor is extremely delighted with the amazing response that his movie ‘Secret Superstar’ and Rohit Shetty’s movie ‘Golmaal Again’ garnered from the audiences. Aamir said, “This Diwali has been great for the film industry. ‘Golmaal Again’ and ‘Secret Superstar’ have become super hit! ‘Judwaa 2’ also did really well two weeks ago, so now I feel good phase has arrived in the industry.” He is hoping that the good phase continues with movies like ‘Padmavati’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. But, the actor says that box office alone cannot indicate the success of a movie. He said, “Box office numbers are just one yardstick about the success of a film. If you see the numbers, we have earned double than the budget of the film. Normally, the film which recovers its cost is called a hit, then this film should be called a super hit.”

Aamir Khan will next be seen in Yah Raj Productions, ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif.
