‘Section 375’ first poster: It’s Akshaye Khanna Vs Richa Chadha in this courtroom drama

The first look poster of Ajay Bhal’s upcoming courtroom drama ‘Section 375’ is finally out. The film features power-house performers Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha. In the film, both of them will be seen playing lawyers who are at loggerheads. The film is being promoted in quite an intriguing manner.

So unlike others who just unveil their film’s poster, the makers of ‘Section 375’ shared their poster as a newspaper cut out. It states that a renowned filmmaker has been booked under Section 375, on the charges of rape. And beneath the headline, we see Richa and Akshaye (in a lawyer’s get-up) all geared up to fight for their respective clients in the court.

Akshaye will be seen playing a criminal lawyer named Tarun Saluja whereas Richa will be essaying the role of public prosecutor Hiral Mehta. As per the poster, a director named Rohan Khurrana is accused by his junior costume designer of raping her. The case in question revolves around how some men in the film industry have misused their power and position to exploit women.

Basically, the film highlights how section 375 of the (Indian Penal Code) is misused in the country. ‘Section 375’ also stars Meera Chopra and Rahul Bhat in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to hit the silver screens on September 13, this year.
