‘Section 375’ Mid-Ticket Review: Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha starrer keeps you hooked for more

Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha starrer ‘Section 375’ is all set to hit theatres this Friday. Before the movie releases in theatres, we are currently watching the film at a special screening. Here’s how the film looks like after the first half.

The movie begins with a gory rape scene, which is shown not just once but twice in the first half. It’s brutal and makes you squirm in your seats. However, it’s the basis of the whole movie and therefore very well portrayed.

From among the actors, Akshaye Khanna gives a stellar performance as a criminal lawyer trying to defend someone whom he knows is guilty. Richa Chadha has minimal screen space and it seems as if she is only there to say ‘Objection’ to everything Akshaye has to say.

The story has been written well, and a befitting ending with a message is what we are expecting out of it. We are definitely looking forward to the second half.
