Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan had recently spoken his views on the rising religious intolerance in the country. The Khan was soon compared to a Pakistani agent in the country. Some even compared the Khan to Pakistani terrorist Hafiz Saeed. The matter has worsened to such an extent that King Khan’s mansion in Mumbai has been awarded high security with more police personnel guarding it.
Shah Rukh Khan had stated in an interview that, guarded by, “Religious intolerance, or intolerance of any kind, is the worst thing and will take us to the dark ages…nobody has more right to live in this country than me, and I am not going to leave. So shut up.”
Soon BJP parliamentarian Yogi AdityanathHis compared him to Pakistani terrorist Hafiz Saeed and another senior BJP leader. Kailash Vijayvargiya had tweeted Shah Rukh Khan lives in India, but his heart is in Pakistan. His films make crores here but he finds India intolerant. Later the politician had to retract his tweet after bearing the brunt of criticism.
Shah Rukh Khan’s home, Mannat, is usually guarded by the State Reserve Police Force, consisting of 50 policemen. Now an additional 25 policemen have been posted at the house today. Shiv Sena too has come out in support of Shah Rukh Khan.
