See Pic: Varun Dhawan is badly injured on the sets of ‘Kalank’

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is a typical macho man. The ‘Judwaa 2′ actor believes in giving 100% all the time and does his stunts himself. The son of David Dhawan is currently shooting for Dharma Productions’ ‘Kalank’. Now, apparently Varun Dhawan has suffered a grievous injury on the sets of ‘Kalank’.

Varun took to Instagram to share the picture and wrote, “#KALANK- battlescars. शुरू तूने किया ख़त्म में करूँगा। #therealdeal.”

As per a report in a leading daily, a source from the set said, “The scene was an intense brawl sequence where Varun had to lift and throw a door at a co-actor. The lift was ill-timed, and he ended up injuring his arm badly. The team rushed to his aid and he was given immediate medical attention on set. However, the actor will not be taking a break from the shoot as Abhishek is aiming to wrap up the ongoing schedule before the onset of monsoons, ” reported PinkVilla.

However, Varun being a thorough professional returned to the set later in the day. The actor then shot for a special dance track for the film. ‘Kalank’ is a period drama which has a stellar star cast comprising of Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit and Sonakshi Sinha. The film is being helmed by Abhishek Varman and is slated to release in 2019.
