Sequel of ‘Dil’ to go on floors this year

‘Dil’, the superhit romantic saga of 1990 is soon to have a sequel. Helmed by ‘Dil’ director Indra Kumar himself, the film is set to go on floors sometime this year.

“We will start rolling this year. I am excited about this project as ‘Dil’ has always been close to my heart. We are deciding on the star cast. Since it has been a successful film, I don’t want to let people down. I want to make it special.” Kumar said.

“I want to make a romantic film, so it’s (the sequel is) a conscious effort” he added.

We hear that the director has plans to rope in Varun Dhawan and Pulkit Samrat for the project and will also relaunch his daughter Shweta in Bollywood

The original film featured Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit in lead.
