Actress Taapsee Pannu has wrapped shooting of her upcoming movie Shabaash Mithu. Taapsee Pannu is playing former captain of Indian Women’s Cricket team, Mithali Raj. Taapsee took to her Instagram handle to announce that she has wrapped up the shoot. She shared a pic from the sets where she and the other girls are dressed in blue jerseys. Directed by Srijit Mukherjee and produced by Viacom 18 Studios, it is the biopic of cricketer Mithali Raj.
Yesterday (November 9), Taapsee announced that she has wrapped up the shoot of Shabaash Mithu. She wrote, “8 ki thi jab kisi ne ek Sapna dikhaya tha, ki ek din ayega jab Cricket sirf gentleman’s game nahi hoga. Humaari bhi ek team hogi, ek pehchaan hogi.. ‘Women in Blue’ Aa rahe hai hum. Jald hi.#ShabaashMithu ITS A FILM WRAP! Get ready to cheer for the World Cup 2022! #WomenInBlue (sic).”

For the unversed, Mithali led the Indian Women’s Cricket team in two World Cups-2005 and 2017. After completing 20 years in cricket, she announced her retirement in 2019.
Talking about Taapsee Pannu, she was last seen in Rashmi Rocket. She will be seen in Aakash Bhatia’s Looop Lapeta, Anurag Kashyap’s Dobaaraa and Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan with Pratik Gandhi. Taapsee will also be seen in her maiden production Blurrr that is a psychological thriller.
