Shabaash Mithu trailer: Taapsee Pannu pays a perfect tribute to iconic cricketer Mithali Raj

Taapsee Pannu is coming back to entertain the audiences with her new film. The actress will be seen as iconic cricket legend Mithali Raj in the upcoming biopic Shabaash Mithu. The makers have finally unveiled the trailer of the much-awaited sports drama. Taapsee has paid a perfect tribute to the retired icon.

Shabaash Mithu traces the journey of Mithali Raj who dreams of becoming a cricketing legend from the tender age of eight.

The trailer showcases the journey of Mithali Raj and is a tribute to the recently retired icon. The message of ‘nazariya badlo, khel badal gaya’ is well showcased in the trailer. Taapsee has once again played the character of a legendary player with utmost conviction. The trailer was launched by one of India’s most iconic cricketers, Sourav Ganguly.

Shabaash Mithu is directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Viacom18 Studios hits theatres on 15th July. It stars Taapsee Pannu in the titular role.The film is a coming-of-age story of women’s cricket in India. It will chronicle the setbacks and moments of euphoria of Mithali Raj’s life.

On the work front, Taapsee Pannu has Dobaaraa, Blurr, Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan? and Dunki lined up in the pipeline.
