Hansal Mehta, Ranvir Shorey and other celebs wish speedy recovery to Shabana Azmi

Noted actress Shabana Azmi was severely injured after her car rammed into a truck on Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The pictures of the unfortunate incident left everyone shocked. Javed Akhtar was also in the same car but thankfully he is safe now. Soon messages and prayers started pouring in for the injured actress’ speedy recovery.

Apart from the netizens, Bollywood celebs too took to their social media handles to express their concern and pray for the veteran actress’  speedy recovery.

The accident took place at the Khalapur toll plaza and as per the reports, Azmi has been moved to Panvel’s MGM hospital. Bollywood celebs such as Ranvir Shorey, Hansal Mehta and others expressed their shock and concern post the horrifying accident.

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta even tagged Cheif Minister Uddhav Thackeray in his post urging him to improve the safety in that accident-prone area.

The Mumbai-Pune expressway has always been dangerous and there is little or no monitoring to prevent rash driving. Have seen so many terrible accidents there. Hope #ShabanaAzmi is fine. Dear @OfficeofUT please improve safety on this route urgently. It is quite a death trap.

It was only last night when the actress was seen celebrating his husband, Javed Akhtar’s 75th birthday. The latest updates state that the ‘Masoom’ actress is now out of danger however her nose is severely injured.

We wish a speedy recovery to the veteran actress.
