Shabana Azmi has been in the news currently quite a lot because of the success of her recent release Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The actress starred alongside Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. And while she is basking in the glory of it all, Shabana Azmi blessed our Instagram feed with a picture of her and Javed Akhtar.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday morning, Shabana ji posted a picture of her with Javed ji and a friend. In the picture, the couple is seen donning matching red polka dot outfits. While Javed ji is wearing a red polka dot shirt with white pants and a hat, Shabana ji dons a red polka dot top, red skirt and a denim blue shirt on it. Their matching outfits are just so adorable and take you back to the golden era. The retro vibes that they give out, along with their smiles just make this picture oh so sweet.

Shabana Azmi kissing scene with Dharmendra

Meanwhile, professionally Shabana ji hid the headlines recently for her kissing scene with Dharam ji in RRKPK. Dharam ji had recently responded to the attention that scene has been grabbing. He had said, “Mujhe messages aa rahe hai ki Dharam ji apne aisa-aisa kia hai. Maine kaha ‘nahin yaar, yeh toh mere daye haath ka kaam hai’. Kuch baaye haath se karwana ho toh woh bhi karwalo. Aur mujhe kahan Karan (Johar) ne ki paaji aap joh hai wahi rehna. I have many good stories. (I’ve been getting messages that Dharam ji you’ve done this that. I told them ‘No, this is the work of my right hand’. Karan Johar asked me to stay the same. I have many good stories).”

On the other hand, Shabana ji had revealed that Javed ji wasn’t bothered by her kiss. Instead, he was more concerned about her behaviour while watching the film. She had said, “What bothered him was my rowdy behaviour. Throughout the film, I was applauding, whistling, cheering and shouting. He was like, ‘I don’t know this woman sitting next to me.’”
