Shabana Azmi watches Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ and here’s her reaction to it

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi celebrated her 66th Birthday on Sunday. As we had brought to you the pictures of her birthday celebrations from the sets of her television serial ‘Amma’, we have now got the news of the best birthday gift this powerhouse performer has received on this special day. And to everyone’s surprise, it is the special screening of Aamir Khan‘s upcoming movie ‘Dangal’ which has left the veteran in complete praises for the entire team.

Shabana Azmi took to her Twitter account on Monday where she shared this news writing, “Watching ‘Dangal’ is the best birthday gift I could get. Thank you Aamir Khan, Nitesh Tiwari, Kiran Rao, Fatima, Sana … you are outstanding.” [sic]

Much anticipated since the official poster of this movie has been released, this is perhaps the first positive reaction of any B-Town celeb for this Aamir Khan-starrer.

‘Dangal’ is a biopic based on the life of wrestling coach Mahavir Singh Phogat (played by Aamir) who trained his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari in this sport.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, this film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and Sakshi Tanwar playing pivotal parts.

It is slated to hit the silver screens during the festive time of Christmas on December 23, 2016.
