Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt to get a mani-pedi session post Darlings release, Here’s why

Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt engaged in a candid conversation on Twitter after the trailer release of the movie Darlings. Taking to his Twitter handle, SRK showered love on his ‘lil one’ and heaped praise on Alia for her performance in the movie trailer. The trailer of Darlings, starring Alia, produced by the actress and co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan was released on Monday, July 25.

Alia Bhatt asked Shah Rukh Khan out for a manicure-pedicure session after the release of the movie Darlings. Taking to Twitter, Alia shared the trailer video of Darlings and mentioned she is ‘excited nervous thrilled emotional’ to share it with everyone. SRK reacted to the tweet made by Bhatt. He told her that even he is ‘anxious’ that Alia shared the responsibility of her first produced movie with him. The Pathaan actor further shared that he will be biting his nails till the movie Darlings releases.

Moving on, the Darlings actress thanked SRK for co-producing the film with her and called him her ‘eternal favourite actor/person/producer’ ever. She then suggested that Shah Rukh and she can both get a manicure and pedicure since all their nails will be bitten. Alia reacted and tweeted, “And you are my eternal favourite actor/person/producer ever! Thank you for doing this with me … and post the release we can both get a manicure and pedicure since all the nails will be bitten haha! Love you the most!!!!”

Meanwhile, Alia is set to make her debut as a producer with the movie Darlings. The film is produced under Bhatt’s production banner Eternal Sunshine and co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. Darlings features Alia, Shefali Shah, and Vijay Varma in key roles. The film is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on August 5.

On the work front, Bhatt is gearing up for the release of Darlings. She even has Brahmastra with Ayan Mukerji and Jee Le Zaraa in her kitty. The actress also has the movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh, which she recently wrapped up. Shah Rukh, on the other hand, is busy shooting for Dunki. He has the movie Jawan with Atlee and Pathaan co-starring Deepika Padukone.
