Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara to start shooting for Atlee’s next in Pune

Shah Rukh Khan is ready to make a big comeback with Siddharth Anand’s Pathan. Among his admirers, the picture is one of the most eagerly anticipated. The celebrity is nearing the end of the film, and we understand that he is set to begin filming for Atlee’s next. The celebrity is now controlling many hearts, and fans have been anxiously awaiting his return to the big screen following the 2018 film Zero. Pathan is gearing up for an action-packed flick as he makes his comeback.

According to sources close to the project, SRK and Nayanthara have started shooting for the film in Pune. A source shared with indianexpress.com, “While SRK started working on the film last week, Nayanthara has joined in a couple of days ago. It is also being said that Telugu superstar Rana Dagubatti will play the antagonist in the film and he will join the cast later.” While the film will be directed by Atlee from the south, it will be funded by SRK’s production company Red Chillies.

Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover will also play important parts in the film. However, the specifics of their characteristics have been withheld. The film will be a delight for all Shah Rukh Khan fans because the superstar will portray twin parts with diametrically opposed character qualities. The source claimed, “It’s larger than life yet driven by performance. Atlee masters the art of making double and triple role films, and this is him bringing the genre back to Bollywood with SRK.”

It’s also worth noting that he’s already performed dual characters in films like Duplicate, Paheli, Don, and Fan. Although the title of the film has not been decided, numerous sources claim that it is titled Sanki. The film is being billed as a major pan-Indian production, with actors from both the North and South working together.

In addition to Nayanthara, who plays the female protagonist in the film, this cast includes a few other names from the Southern film industry. The film will be shot in a variety of locales over the course of 6 to 7 months.
