Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan starrer King to also star Munjya fame Abhay Verma? Here’s what we know

Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan are collaborating in a first-of-its-kind way on Sujoy Ghosh’s King. A few days back it was confirmed that Abhishek Bachchan has joined the cast as antagonist. And now, as per reports, makers have roped in Munjya fame Abhay Verma for a pivotal role in King alongside Shah Rukh & Suhana.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Abhay Verma is set to play a crucial catalyst in ‘King’. A source revealed, “Abhay Verma has got a lot of appreciation for his performance in Munjya and the same is reflected in the kind of offers coming his way. He has bagged a key role in King alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. He is excited to venture into this tentpole feature film.” However, details about his character are currently under wraps.

The source further shared information on the production of King. It states, “While the script is locked, the makers have also identified the shooting locations in India and abroad. The production team is now on the final step to get the entire ensemble cast in place alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, as they are aiming to take the film on floors in November 2024.”

King follows the story of the mentor-protegee bond between Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana. The action-packed film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. It’s in collaboration with Pathaan director Siddharth Anand’s production house, Marflix.
