Shah Rukh Khan’s collaboration with Tamil director Atlee confirmed? Watch video

After last year’s ‘Zero’, Shah Rukh Khan has kept his fans and followers on tenterhooks as he is yet to announce his next film. The superstar’s name has been associated with several projects but none of them has been confirmed yet.

Just recently we came across reports of Shah Rukh announcing his next project on his birthday. And guess what, he will be announcing two projects. In April this year, it was reported that Shah Rukh will be teaming up with Tamil film ‘Mersal’s director Atlee Kumar. Looks like he is indeed collaborating with Atlee. Well, the actor hasn’t confirmed it yet but the latest video doing the rounds of social media says so.

And it was none other than director Harish Shankar who spilled the beans on Atlee’s upcoming project. At a promotional event of Atlee’s ‘Bigil’ when Shankar said, “I don’t know how immediately it’s going to happen but I am praying all the Gods to make it happen. Atlee sir is going to direct King Khan. Being a huge fan of SRK, I am waiting for this combo so that I can also come to that function. I am a huge fan of SRK.”

In the video, Atlee can be seen smiling and politely nodding. Which most certainly indicates that Shah Rukh is in talks with him for the film.

Rumours of Atlee and SRK’s collaboration started doing the rounds when they were spotted together at the IPL match.  Now, whether King Khan will be collaborating with Atlee for ‘Mersal'(2017) remake or for some other film, it’s not clear yet.We hope on his birthday, SRK ends all the speculation by confirming his next film.
