Here’s why Shah Rukh Khan had to call Jawan co-star Nayanthara ‘do bacchon ki maa’ during his ‘Ask SRK’ session

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is one of the highly-anticipated films this year. SRK’s Jawan will release soon. Apart from SRK, Jawan also stars Nayanthara in an important role. The Jawan Prevue earlier gave us a glimpse of SRK, as well as Nayanthara’s character in the upcoming film.

Ahead of the film’s release, SRK hosted an ‘AskSRK’ session on Twitter on Thursday. King Khan answered interesting questions about the film and his co-stars. Speaking about the latter, Shah Rukh Khan was asked about Nayanthara. The actor had a perfect response when a fan asked him if he fell for Nayanthara during Jawan shoot.

A fan asked, “Nayanthara mam pe lattu huye ya nahi?” To this, SRK responded saying, “Chup karo! Doh bacchon ki maa hain woh!! Ha ha #Jawan.”

Nayanthara is married to filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. They tied the knot in June last year. Post that, the couple welcomed twin boys (Uyir and Ulag) via surrogacy last year.

Coming back to AskSRK, Shah Rukh Khan was also asked about his favourite song from Jawan and he revealed that it’s not Zinda Banda. A fan asked. “Which is your favourite song from the movie? Personal favourite, no bias #AskSRK.” To this, SRK responded saying, “My favourite song is Chaleya from the film. Romantic and sweet and gentle… just like me. @anirudhofficial has excelled. #Jawan.”

Ahead of Jawan’s release, SRK has been teasing fans with posters and interesting updates about the film. On Thursday, SRK shared an exciting poster featuring him, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi. The latest poster was enough to leave his fans beyond excited. Vijay plays the role of an antagonist in Jawan. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone has a special appearance in the film.

For the unversed, Jawan is directed by Atlee. The film marks SRK and Atlee’s first collaboration together. Jawan releases in theatres on 7^th September, 2023.
