Shah Rukh Khan consoles friend Farah Khan as he arrives with his family to pay last respects to her late mother- WATCH

Filmmaker Farah Khan’s mother Menaka Irani passed away on July 27. As per reports, Menaka Irani passed away on Friday morning at age 79. The cause of her demise is still unknown; however, it was reported that her late mother underwent multiple surgeries due to an unspecified health issue. Several Bollywood celebs were seen arriving at her residence to offer their condolences. Later at night, actor Shah Rukh Khan who shares a close bond with Farah Khan visited her at her residence to pay his last respects.

He was spotted outside her residence along with his wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan. Shah Rukh is her close friend and they have worked together in several movies as an actor and choreographer. But Farah also directed SRK in movies like Om Shanti Om, and Happy New Year.

After offering condolence to her and her family, the Pathaan actor was seen exiting her house and gave a warm hug and kisses to Farah before zooming off in his car.

On July 12, Farah Khan took to her Instagram account and posted a sweet note on her mother’s birthday. Sharing two pictures with her mom, the filmmaker wrote, “We all take our mothers for granted… especially me! This last month has been a revelation on how much I love my mom Menka” . She continued, “She has been the strongest, bravest person I’ve ever seen.. sense of humour intact even after multiple surgeries. Happy birthday mom! Today’s a good day to come back home ♥️ can’t wait for you to get strong enough to start fighting with me again.. i Lov u”
