Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone reunite for Jawan in Chennai

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone make for a great team on-screen.  Fans have been eagerly awaiting for them to collaborate for a movie soon.  Here is some good news for their fans, the actors will not only be seen in YRF’s Pathaan but are also reuniting for Atlee’s Jawan. Apparently, Deepika will be seen in a cameo in the movie and has reached Chennai for the shoot.

In a video viral on the internet, Deepika Padukone is spotted getting off a bus at the Chennai airport. Shah Rukh was seen speaking to several people near a car while Atlee was also seen in the clip walking with others. In another part of the video, the trio are seen sharing a conversation.

In the video, Deepika Padukone is looking stunning in a dark blue denim jumpsuit and white sports shoes. She had covered her face with a white mask and tied her hair in a high bun. Shah Rukh Khan rocked the casual look in a white T-shirt, jacket, and pants and also sported a cap. While Atlee was seen looking cool in an all-black look.

As reported by sources in Hindustan Times, “Shah Rukh will be playing a double role in the film. He is set to play the role of a father and son, with Deepika playing senior Khan’s wife and Nayanthara doubling up as junior SRK’s love interest.”

Jawan also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. The movie is set to hit theatres on June 2, 2023, and will be released in five languages.
