Shah Rukh Khan draws parallel between DDLJ and Dunki trailer: Glad even after 11 surgeries, I can still run

After Jawan and Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to strike hattrick with his third movie of the year, Dunki. With just a few days left for release, the makers dropped captivating trailer on 5^th December after which the actor hosted an Ask SRK session where his quirky responses had our attention. During the interaction, a fan pointed that his older version in Dunki trailer wears a yellow and blue-striped T-shirt reminding of his attire in the entry sequence of DDLJ and Shah Rukh Khan had the best response.

During an “Ask SRK” session on X (formerly known as Twitter), someone asked him, “@iamsrk, somewhere in between, we all grew up… How does it feel when you see edits like this one?” To which the superstar replied, “Life is a run. Shah Rukh Khan shares the meaning of term Dunki

While explaining what the title of Dunki means, Shah Rukh wrote on X, “Dunki is actually the donkey journey across borders without permits. In the Punjabi dialect, they pronounce it Dunki.”

Dunki cast and release date

Apart from King Khan, Dunki features an ensemble cast, with colorful characters portrayed by exceptionally talented actors Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, along with Shah Rukh Khan. A JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films presentation, Dunki is slated to release on December 2023.
