It has been a great year for Bollywood enthusiasts, especially for Shah Rukh Khan fans and Prabhas fans. SRK delivered two massive hits with Pathaan and recently released Jawan. Meanwhile, Prabhas has raised the excitement levels for his upcoming films Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire and Kalki 2898 AD.
While Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki is helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, Salaar is helmed by Prashanth Neel. Now, there has been a buzz about both films, and has raised the curiosity levels among the netizens.
Dunki and Salaar to witness a clash at the box office?
Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki and Prabhas’ Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire will witness a clash at the box office. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his social media handles and dropped the update. SRK starrer Dunki is releasing in December this year. Meanwhile, Salaar is reportedly releasing around the same time. As per reports, an official announcement will be made on 29 September. Well, if the reports turn out to be true, then the year will surely emerge much more exciting.
When Shah Rukh Khan confirmed Dunki’s release…
During Jawan’s success press conference, Shah Rukh Khan confirmed that Dunki is on track. He had said, “God’s been very kind, we’ve had Pathaan. God has been even kinder with Jawan. I always tell ki 26 January se humne shuruat ki, Republic Day, it’s a good auspicious day. Janmashtami, Krishna ji ke janamdin pe humne ye film release ki. Abhi naya saal aane wala hai, Christmas hai, usme hum Dunki lekar aayenge. Aur national integration rakhta hun, waise bhi jab meri film release hoti hai us din Eid to hoti hi hai. (We began on an auspicious day, Republic Day. Then on Lord Krishna’s birthday, Janmashtami, we had Jawan. Now, on Christmas and New Year, we will bring Dunki. And as I always keep national integration in mind, it’s always Eid when my films release).”
Speaking of Prabhas starrer Salaar, the film is helmed by KGF director Prashanth Neel, and will also star Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Easwari Rao, and Jagapathi Babu among others.
Hombale Films is producing Salaar. Previously, Salaar was slated to release on 28 September, but the film has been postponed and the makers are yet to reveal the date. Now, we eagerly await the official release date of the films!
