Shah Rukh Khan explains why there is ‘not enough promotion’ of Jawan

When Shah Rukh Khan came back to the big screen after 4 years with Pathaan this January, the success of the film just proved his stardom. The film became one of the biggest blockbusters in Hindi cinema. Adding to that excitement was the announcement of 2 more Shah Rukh Khan releases, Jawan and Dunki. The audience has been waiting for them to release, and now the actor has added to that intrigue.

On Monday, SRK had his famous Ask SRK session on Twitter. Naturally, there were many questions that the Badshah was asked about Jawan. And the actor, in his signature style, gave some witty responses to them.

One of the users questioned SRK on the film’s promotional strategy. They wrote, “When Jawan trailer will be out sir? and why am feeling there is no enough promotion for jawan?” Giving the response of a superstar to it, SRK said, “The fact that you are asking about Jawaan is promotion enough!!”

Not just that, when a fan asked Shah Rukh if Jawan is ready, excitedly he said, “Absolutely Ready Steady Po!!” He even insisted that Jawan was more challenging for him than Dunki. Revealing why, he shared, “Jawaan for sure lots of action.“ Discussing his evening plans, he also shared that he plans to watch Jawan with his director Atlee.

SRK on Vijay Sethupathi

Jawan will see Shah Rukh fight it out with Vijay Sethupathi. When a user asked King Khan to “Say something about our jawan villian,” he had the sweetest reply. Tagging Vijay, SRK said, “@VijaySethuOffl is awesome one of favourite actors and in Jawaan he is toooooo cool.”

When asked to reveal the release date of teaser of Jawan, SRK quipped, “If I tell u, then it won’t be a tease ja..??” Another user also asked for more Jawan material, and the actor kept up his fun spirit. He replied, “Milta hi hoga…Fed Ex kar diya hai…” This whole session is proof of how excited the audience is for Jawan and to see SRK back on screen.

Jawan has a release date of September 7, 2023

Earlier, Jawan was supposed to release on June 2, 2023. But to finish the work on the film with utmost perfection, the makers pushed the release to September 7, 2023. The film will also feature Nayanthara opposite SRK. It also stars Sanya Malhotra in an undisclosed role.
