IPL 2024 Final Match: Shah Rukh Khan shares a warm hug with family as Kolkata Knight Riders defeats Sunrisers Hyderabad

Kolkata Knight Riders have emerged as the winners of the 2024 Indian Premiere League. The Shah Rukh Khan-Juhi Chawla team, KKR defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 8 wickets to win the IPL 2024 trophy in the final match held in Chennai. Despite being recently hospitalized, King Khan flew down to the coastal city with his family to support his team.

As soon as Kolkata Knight Riders won the match, Shah Rukh Khan was snapped celebrating the win by planting a kiss on wife Gauri Khan’s head and hugging kids Suhana Khan, Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan.

SRK embraces family as KKR’s win

As soon as Kolkata Knight Riders emerged victorious, fans began celebrating in the stands. At the same time, the stadium cameras captured the Khans rejoicing in their seats. Shah Rukh Khan was captured hugging his wife Gauri in an endearing gesture, followed by a kiss on her head. SRK was then seen hugging all three of his kids as they celebrated KKR’s win. Aside from his family members – Gauri Khan, Suhana Khan, Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani and Suhana’s best friends – Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor- were also seen in the stands, rooting for KKR.

KKR defeats SRH

Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla-owned Kolkata Knight Riders dominated the IPL 2024 season. They made it to the playoffs with 9 wins, 3 losses, and 1 no-result. Their strong performance – both in batting and bowling, earned them an 8-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad.
