Shah Rukh Khan was invited to deliver a speech at the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore (IIMB). The Khan known for his art of eloquence was invited at the inauguration of IIMBUE 2015 – IIM-B Alumni Leadership Summit here. During an interaction, w the Khan took a walk down memory lane as he reminisced the childhood that he had spent in the city of garden.
SRK who had spent a small part of childhood in his maternal grandparents home in Bangalore confessed that he would love to rebuild their home again.
Shah Rukh Khan said, “I want to rebuild my grandfather’s house on Nandidurg Road in Jayamahal Extension area. I would like to come and stay here for some time. I have spent my first six years of my life in Bengaluru. My grandfather was living in Nandidurg Road. I grew in the ambiance of traffic-less Bangalore those days. Bengaluru was ‘air-conditioned’ and I enjoyed Cubbon Park ambiance and cycle rides.”
King Khan is at present busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Dilwale’ that also stars Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. The Rohit Shetty directorial is all set to hit theaters on December 18.
