Shah Rukh Khan is caught with Darlings fever and his latest tweet is proof

Alia Bhatt released her maiden production venture Darlings, starring her alongside Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew, yesterday on Netflix and the film has been receiving rave reviews. The whole nation has been caught by the Darlings fever and seems like even Shah Rukh Khan hasn’t been spared by it.

Ever since the film dropped yesterday, people have been appreciating it’s story and lead performances and the praise has been mostly unanimous. The Badshah is also a co-producer on this Jasmeet K Reen directorial and he had his own way of sharing his plans about enjoying the film.

Shah Rukh Khan is currently quite busy with three announced films including Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, and in this hectic schedule he decided to make some time to pamper himself, which included some time with Darlings too, and he shared that with his fans using Darlings lingo.

He took to Twitter last evening to make a quippy statement and the fans have loved his witty sense of humour. He wrote, “Been working the last few days non stop….so needed to indulge in my favourite past time….’the love of my own person’ & to pamper myself, will spend the day with Prabhuji / Thums up and #DARLINGS (this is not an endorsement, just ‘mees spoilingss mees on a days offs pleaj….’) (sic)”.

Even before the film’s release, Shah Rukh had went on to praise the film and its leading lady cum producer Alia on Twitter when he had written, “Lil one I am also so anxious that u shared the responsibility of Eternal Sunshine Productions first film with me…that I will be biting my nails till it releases. But I feel we have a lovely film and u r the soul and sunshine of all things Darlings. (sic)”.

In a recent conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Alia had revealed that after seeing the film, Shah Rukh had a special message for her that too in the Darlings lingo. She had shared, “He saw it and he spoke to me in that Darlings lingo, ‘thanks yous for such a lovelys film’.” It’s great to see Shah Rukh being so invested and supportive for the film and taking a cue from the actor, ‘wes just loves it’.
