Shah Rukh Khan is set to promote Pathaan at FIFA World Cup finals but there’s a catch- WATCH

Earlier, there were reports suggesting that actor Shah Rukh Khan will be promoting his upcoming movie Pathaan at the FIFA World Cup 2022 Finals. However, it was all in speculation until now. On Thursday, SRK took to his Instagram account and dropped a video, announcing that he will watch the final match while also promoting Pathaan. But there’s a catch.

As per his video, he will not be going to Qatar to watch the match. Since FIFA is been conducted in Qatar, SRK mentioned that he will be watching it from the Jio studios along with a star Football player. That’s right. According to this caption, Shah Rukh will also be meeting the former England football player Wayne Rooney. Well, this is certainly a huge thing and we surely can’t wait to witness the two legends on the same screen.

Sharing the video, the Zero actor captioned, “Field par Messi aur Mbappe… studio mein @WayneRooney aur main… #Pathaan! 18 Dec ki shaam hogi shaandaar! Dekhiye #FIFAWorldCup Final mere saath, LIVE on @officialjiocinema & @sports18.official”

Fans are quite praising King Khan for his marketing skills. A fan commented, “Baap of marketing and promotion for a reason” while another one said, “That’s our SRK He promotes his film though FIFA Badshah for reasons.”

Interestingly, this is not the first time where the Dilwale actor chose the sports route to promote his movie. back in 2013, he promoted Chennai Express at the Indian Premier League’s pre-match show ‘Extraa Innings’.

Meanwhile, Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham will be released on January 25, 2023. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie will also be released in Tamil and Telugu.
