Shah Rukh Khan wants to do ‘age-real’ films, says ‘It gets tiring to bring that kind of charm that existed 20 years ago’

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki released recently and is running successfully in the theatres. With this, SRK is definitely enjoying the stupendous response he is receiving as Dunki soars high. Given the response for Dunki, it will surely emerge as a blockbuster. With three back-to-back hits, the netizens are waiting for the announcement of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie. Amid this, Shah Rukh Khan has opened up about doing age-real movies.

Shah Rukh Khan recently got into a chat with Raya Abirached where he shared that ‘it is getting a little tiring trying to bring in that kind of charm which existed 20 years ago.’ Not only this, but SRK also opened up about what made him choose Dunki, his first collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani.

SRK also opened up about his next movie and said, “I will start one in March, April now. I am attempting now to do a film which is more age-real to me, and play it still as a protagonist and as the star of the film. I think one of the few things in Indian films we missed out on is people can play the age and play the star still….Because it does get a little tiring trying to bring in that kind of charm which existed 20 years ago what I used to do. I think I may have a new charm which is more age-centric. I’d like to do another action film.”

SRK speaks about Dunki

King Khan also opened up about Dunki and Rajkumar Hirani. He said, “It’s a very heartfelt film. It’s about coming back home, it’s about life, it’s about things that take us away from home. To be honest, what draws you to a Rajkumar Hirani film is Rajkumar Hirani.”

Dunki marks Shah Rukh Khan’s first team-up with ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. Apart from SRK, Dunki cast also includes Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal and Vikram Kochhar among others. The movie speaks about Donkey flight and homecoming.
