Shah Rukh Khan gives an electrifying performance on Zinda Banda at Jawan event in Chennai- WATCH

On Wednesday, Shah Rukh Khan jetted off to Chennai for the audio launch event of his next Jawan. The badshah received a roaring welcome down South with fans going berserk over his presence. The excitement for Jawan is already at a high and the event gave fans a chance to see the Jawan team get together. And SRK made sure to make it even more special with his energetic performance.

At the event, singer and composer Anirudh Ravichander was performing the song Zinda Banda from Jawan. While the audience was enjoying his act, he invited SRK to join him on stage and King Khan obliged. The audience was already cheering him on and Shah Rukh reciprocated to the excitement by giving an electrifying dance performance as Anirudh sang. The actor was all energised and didn’t hold back as he performed the steps of the song. He even shared a hug with the musical maestro as he exited the stage.

Shah Rukh and Priyamani recreate Chennai Express moment

Before this performance, SRK gave a little taste of nostalgia as he and Priyamani, along with Sunil Grover, danced on One Two Three Four from Chennai Express. For the unversed, Priyamani did this special song originally with SRK in the 2013 film. Seeing the two of them get back on stage together seems really exhilarating.

Other than SRK, Priyamani and Sunil Grover, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and director Atlee also attended the event. Jawan is nearing its release and the excitement is increasing, especially with the trailer releasing on August 31. There is a huge curiosity around the film’s trailer. Jawan has a release date of September 7, 2023.
