The Two Khan’s of Bollywood are bonding big time. Yes, we are talking about Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan who have been giving their fans much reason to rejoice since they mended their bridges. The feauding Khans had buried the hatchet at Arpita Khan’s marriage since then their bromance has been splashed across major publications.
The year 2016 is special for the Khans with their films ‘Sultan’ and ‘Raees’ set to release. The major problem that had caused their directors to lose sleep over was the release date, as both were set to hit the theaters on Eid 2016. Now SRK has come clear that he might postpone Raees’s release date for his good friend Salman Khan.
SRK said, “Yeah, I guess we (Raees) could shift. But I don’t know the readiness of Sultan. Raees will be ready in January, in like 20 days. Plus, they all are friends – Adi (Aditya Chopra), Salman (Khan), Ali (Abbas Zafar), I know them all. So, if mutually we all can figure out a date where one of us goes a week up or down, we might! Or we might not!”
He further added, “Again I feel both the film are different genres and so they might not be too difficult to handle on a good weekend like the December 25, Diwali or Eid – they are good weekends. They are good cinema tickets, so you can put in two films, of course the business gets divided, but it kind of comes back to normalcy.”
A little bird has informed that Salman Khan has shifted the release date of his upcoming film ‘Sultan’ to Diwali 2016.
