Now, as celebrities enjoy the success of their films, it is worth taking note that in the post-pandemic era, some actors ruled many hearts. Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Rani Mukerji successfully owned the first quarter. And here’s how they did it.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan…

The year opened with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan. The film from YRF Spy Universe created history for itself by breaking all the records and became the highest-grossing movie of 2023. King Khan along with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham delivered their best that touched the audiences’ hearts. People thronged the theatres several times to watch this hit. Pathan collected over 1050.30 crores worldwide gross. Pathaan beamed with victory just at the time when the audience speculated the fall of Bollywood succumbing to ‘Boycott Bollywood.’ Movie’s director, Siddharth Anand said, “I’m happy that Pathaan has become a game-changer for the industry. We were said to have been boycotted by people. I’m happy that Pathaan has become the answer to all that talk. The industry has heard enough. I’m happy that we have let our work do the talking.”

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar…

Immediately after Pathaan, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar set cash counters ringing. Ranbir Kapoor was back with Romance, his home turf. Along with Shraddha Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor delivered his best and received an overwhelming response. The film collected 148 crore nett in India and 222.47 crore gross worldwide!

Rani Mukerji starrer Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway…

The third lead actor to deliver a hit theatrically is Rani Mukerji with a content film Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway! Rani Mukerji performed exceptionally well as she made the audience shed tears. The audience loved the movie for its unique storyline and direction. In the film Rani Mukerji plays a mother in distraught, separated from her kids. The Norway government feels they are not getting a friendly and happy environment to grow in.
