Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies to sign a multi-project deal with Netflix?

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is a multi-faceted personality. The 53-year-old is an actor, producer, awards show host, entrepreneur, sports enthusiast and a genuine sport. SRK has been in the industry for a considerable period of time, but is still learning the trade and is not resting on his laurels.

Now, according to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Shah Rukh’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment has signed a deal with online streaming giant Netflix.

The ‘Raees’ actor’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment was already in advanced stages to produce a web series for Netflix based on Atul Sabharwal’s project. This series is based on Mumbai Police’s initiative to train a special team of encounter specialists and shooters at the time when the underworld was at its peak in the city.

Shah Rukh Khan also helmed ‘Bard Of Blood’, an adaptation of Bilal Siddiqui’s espionage thriller for Netflix. Emraan Hashmi is associated with it.

A source quoted by the publication said that Red Chillies Entertainment has in fact signed three more projects with the online streaming platform and details about the same will be out soon. These web projects by Red Chillies are all in association with Netflix. It would be interesting to see how SRK aces the digital medium.
