Shah Rukh Khan reveals his favourite song from Jawan and its NOT Zinda Banda

Shah Rukh Khan hosted an ‘AskSRK’ session on Twitter and spilled the beans on his favourite song from his upcoming action-packed movie Jawan.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is one of the highly-anticipated films this year. Jawan will release soon and it’s already making headlines for all the right reasons. In July, Jawan’s first song Zinda Banda was released by the makers of the film. The music video showed SRK dancing with his girl gang. King Khan absolutely nailed his dance moves in Zinda Banda. Now, ahead of Jawan’s release, SRK hosted an ‘AskSRK’ session on Twitter. The actor was asked to reveal his ‘favourite’ song from Jawan and well, it’s not Zinda Banda.

A fan asked. “Which is your favourite song from the movie? Personal favourite, no bias #AskSRK.” To this, SRK responded saying, “My favourite song is Chaleya from the film. Romantic and sweet and gentle… just like me. @anirudhofficial has excelled. #Jawan.”

King Khan did not reveal any details about Chaleya song from Jawan. However, we can’t wait for it to release.

During the AskASK session, Shah Rukh Khan compared Jawan with Chennai Express. A fan asked him, “Yesterday Chennai Express screening has been done in 50 cities by @SRKUniverse on the occasion of its anniversary. Have u notice? #AskSRK.” It was then SRK called Jawan ‘new Chennai Express’. SRK replied saying, “Yeah it was lovely ten yrs ago Chennai Express. Now with @Atlee_dir #VijaySethuOffl @anirudhofficial #Nayanthara #Sobhi #Analmaster this is new Chennai Express reloading… Nahi??! #Jawan.”

In Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan will share screen space with many actresses – Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani among others. Deepika Padukone has a special appearance in the film. During his ‘AskSRK’ session, when a fan asked him what message he would like his fans to take away from Jawan, SRK replied saying, “The film has a strong take on women empowerment… how to respect and stand for them #Jawan.”

In Jawan, SRK will be seen in different avatars. He went bald onscreen for the first time and fans absolutely loved it. Atlee has directed Jawan and Gauri Khan is producing it. It will release on 7^th September.
