What was Shah Rukh Khan doing on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’?

Well, the shoot for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious venture ‘Padmavati’ has already started, and Deepika Padukone was shooting for the same, in Mehboob studios, yesterday. However, Shah Rukh Khan too, was present there. Why, you ask? Read on.

Well, hold your horses, for as much as we would have wanted it, Shah Rukh was not there because he is a part of the movie. SRK was present at the studio with his co-star Alia Bhatt, to promote their upcoming movie ‘Dear Zindagi’. Since Dippy was there too for her shoot, the superstar just thought of visiting her on the sets.

Sigh! How we would have loved the news to be the other way round, if Shah Rukh would have had a role in the movie. We all know that SLB had approached Shah Rukh Khan for the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, but it eventually it went to Shahid Kapoor.
