Shah Rukh Khan shares an interesting update about King, confirms Siddharth Anand as director; says, “He is very strict”

The King Khan of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan recently extended his support to Abu Dhabi Knight Riders at a T20 league match on Sunday (January 27). He has shared a big update on his upcoming movie, King. SRK has confirmed that the film will be directed by Siddharth Anand.

Shah Rukh Khan confirmed that King will be directed by SRK’s Pathaan. He also stated that fans would love to watch the entertaining film. During his presence, he said, “I am just just shooting it. I will be shooting it for a couple of months. My director, Siddharth Anand, is very strict. He made Pathaan also. He has asked me not to reveal what we are doing. I can’t tell you but I can assure you that it will be entertaining. You will enjoy it.”

He added, “Shah Rukh Khan as Shah Rukh Khan King. The team is working very hard. We are making a great film for everyone.” King’s release date has not yet been disclosed by the makers yet.

Additionally, discussions are reportedly underway to cast an A-list actress alongside Shah Rukh Khan, with an announcement expected soon. Abbas Tyrewala is on board as the dialogue writer for King, which will also feature Abhishek Bachchan along with Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. Nayanthara and Munjya actor Abhay Verma are rumoured to be part of the cast. It will be directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in collaboration with Marflix.
