Superstar Shah Rukh Khan started his journey in the world of entertainment from the small screen. Yes, the Badshah of Bollywood had started his career on television with serials like ‘Fauji’ and ‘Circus’ that brought him immense love and fan following. His Bollywood journey started much later. Now, here is some good news for his fans. The 52-year old actor is coming back on the small screen but not with a new show.
On the occasion of Doordarshan’s 59th anniversary, the channel is all set to bring SRK’s TV show ‘Circus’ back on screen. They will be showcasing the episodes of ‘Circus’ from September 22 and it will be telecast every Saturday and Sunday at 9: 30 pm.

In ‘Circus’, Shah Rukh Khan had portrayed the role of Shekharan. The plot of the serial revolved around a Circus troupe. Directed by Aziz Mirza and Kundan Shah, the serial also featured Sunil Shende, Rekha Sahay, Renuka Shahane, Sameer Khakhar and Ashutosh Gowariker in pivotal roles.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Zero’ co-starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. It will be directed by Anand L Rai. The film will hit the screens in December.
