Shah Rukh Khan calls Nayanthara’s role in Jawan ‘amazing’, SPEAKS UP on her limited screen time

With Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan delivered a massive blockbuster and there’s no denying that! Directed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra among others. Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone also played a powerful cameo in Jawan. The film marked the first team-up between Atlee and SRK. Apart from this, Shah Rukh Khan also shared the big screen with Nayanthara for the first time in Jawan.

There’s no denying the fact that Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara shared a crackling chemistry in Jawan. Though the film emerged as a blockbuster, Nayanthara’s screen presence was quite limited. Now, SRK has opened up about the same.

In a recent #AskSRK session, the Pathaan actor was asked about Nayathara’s storyline and her character in Jawan. A fan took to X and shared a pic of SRK with the child actor Suji, who played a pivotal role, and said, “I loved Azad’s bond with Suji the single mom storyline was so subtly done and really refreshing. Thank you for representing women from all walks of life. Love you Shah @iamsrk #AskSRK #Jawan (sic).”

Responding to this, Shah Rukh Khan said, “I also felt that the story of Narmada as a single mom was amazing. Unfortunately in the scheme of things couldn’t find more screen time but as is was also wonderful. #Jawan (sic).”

Nayanthara marked her Bollywood debut alongside King Khan in Jawan. Directed by Atlee, the film is produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. Released on 7 September, Jawan is continuing to roar at the box office as it is shattering records.
