Shah Rukh Khan starrer Don turns 16, Fans demand PART 3 as Farhan Akhtar celebrates with a special video

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Don has clocked 16 years of its release today(October 20). The action thriller is directed by Farhan Akhtar. To mark the occasion the filmmaker took to Instagram to share a special video. The video highlights SRK’s famous dialogue from the blockbuster franchise.

Sharing the video on Instagram Farhan Akhtar captioned it as “Happy birthday Don. 16 years and counting.”

No sooner did the actor-singer share the video fans started demanding an update on Don 3. A user said: “Waiting for Done 3 … And further.” Another user commented: “Don 3 with mighty srk and mighty pcj pls.” While a third user added: “bhai yaar DON 3 bana do naaa.” “Bhai Don 3 ki shooting kab chalu kar rahe ho,” One comment read, “Dekh raha hai vinod kese don 3 announce kiye bina celebration ho raha hai” while another comment read, “It was perfect moment to announce Don 3, but it is gone now“.

For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Don also features Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Isha Koppikar, Boman Irani, and more in supporting roles. Don was an official remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s 1978 classic and the movie also received positive reviews from critics and audiences.

On the work front, Farhan Akhtar is all set to direct Jee Le Zara. The movie marks the return of Priyanka Chopra to Bollywood once again. It also features Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles. The film will be produced by Zoya Akhtar-Reema Kagti’s Tiger Baby and Farhan Akhtar- Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment.

Whereas Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in YRF’s Pathaan with Deepika Padukone, Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki co-starring Taapsee Pannu and Atlee’s Jawan with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi.
