Shah Rukh Khan arrived with a tsunami at the box office in the form of Jawan and it became a worldwide celebration. Even after three weeks of release, the film is still getting overwhelming response from people. And a glimpse of it came yet again when the film got a screening in Leh.
Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan gets a screening at The Himalayan Film Festival in Leh
Currently, The Himalayan Film Festival is taking place in Leh and Jawan got a screening there. The official X (Twitter) handle of the festival shared a clip from the film’s screening. In the video, a jam-packed theatre is giving a thunderous response to the film. The audience is also cheering for King Khan saying, “Julley, Shah Rukh! We love you.”
As Shah Rukh’s name appears on screen, the audience breaks into a deafening cheer. Even the festival’s X account captioned the video, “Amidst loud cheers, the people of Leh experienced Jawan on the big screen at The Himalayan Film Festival!”

Jawan released on September 7 in theatres and was met with an overwhelming response critically and commercially. The Atlee directorial also features Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra and Sunil Grover. Jawan has now beaten Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and SRK’s own Pathaan to become the highest Hindi film grosser at the box office. The Hindi collection stands at over Rs 525 crores for the film and it has already crossed Rs 1000 crores worldwide.
