Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan sold to OTT platform for a whopping amount?

Shah Rukh Khan is all set to rule the big screen once again with three back-to-back releases in 2023. The Badshah who has been on a hiatus will be seen in YRF’s Pathan, Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki and Atlee’s Jawan. The action thriller has Lady superstar Nayanthara sharing screen space with King Khan. Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawaan has apparently locked out a humungous deal much before its release.

As per a Bollywood Life report, The digital streaming rights of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan have been sold to an OTT platform for a whopping Rs 120 crore. But there has been no confirmation of the same from the makers as yet.

Recently Shah Rukh Khan during an Instagram live opened up on Jawan. He said, “There is still a long way to go. There is not much I can tell you about Jawan except the fact that I am having a great time as an actor. And Atlee, the director, it is a different kind of film. Everybody has seen his work. He makes outstanding mass-oriented films, again a genre I have never done. So, I wanted to try my hands on it. And I think me and Atlee have good chemistry. I bring in some (to the film), he brings in some. Whatever we have done of Jawan is thrilling and exciting.”

Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ is all set to hit the theatres on June 2, 2023. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan also has Pathan co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The Sidharth Malhotra directorial also has Salman Khan in a cameo. He also has Dunki with Taapsee Pannu.
