Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki to have 6 teasers? Here’s what we know

The teaser of Shah Rukh Khan starrer upcoming movie Dunki was unveiled on the occasion of his 58^th Birthday. It gave us an exciting glimpse of what Rajkumar Hirani’s world will offer us and we just can’t wait to witness more of it. After sharing Dunki Drop 1, the makers are reportedly planning to unveil 6 teasers ahead of the movie release and all of them have been passed by CBFC.

According to the CBFC website, six teasers of the movie Dunki have been certified. They will vary in duration, with the first one lasting 1 minute and 47 seconds, the second at 58 seconds, the third and fourth teasers at 58 seconds, and 1 minute 49 seconds respectively. The final two teasers, Teaser 5 and 6, have durations of 1 minute 50 seconds and 1 minute 51 seconds, It will reportedly be contributing to a comprehensive preview of what the Shah Rukh Khan’s film has in store for the audience.

Shah Rukh Khan revealed the purpose of keeping Dunki teaser short. At fan meet event, he said, “We haven’t shown a lot in the teaser. Slowly we will reveal Drop 2 and Drop 3. Raju sir (Rajkumar Hirani) and I were clear that we first wanted to show the world of our film. What am I doing in the film, what Taapsee is doing – this all will be introduced later. Speaking about mein film main mein kya kar raha hu? Kaafi aacha kar raha hu yaar. (I am doing quite well in the film).”

Dunki cast and release date

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the movie also features Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu in pivotal roles. The movie is all set to release on 22nd December. To note, it will witness a clash with Prabhas starrer Salaar. For those unaware, the meaning of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki is the use of the illegal immigration technique of ‘donkey flight’ to enter countries like US, UK and Canada.
