Shah RUkh Khan summoned

Shah Rukh Khan, who owns the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders, has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in the case of violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). The actor has been asked to appear in court on August 23.

In March too, the ED had issued a notice to KKR and the team promoters, SRK, his wife Gauri and Juhi Chawla for violating Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) rules. They have been alleged for selling their shares to a Mauritius-based company at lower prices in 2009. The investigation done by ED concluded that it caused Rs 73.6 crore foreign exchange loss to the government. On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ which is slated to hit the screens on August 4, 2017. The film also stars Anushka Sharma in the lead role. This is for the third time when Anushka and Shah Rukh Khan will be working together in a film.
