Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol end their long-standing feud with a warm hug at Gadar 2 success bash- WATCH

Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol defined the superstardom of the 90s. However, after doing Darr together, the two actors were not on good terms with each other. Their feud lasted a long time, but the duo has finally patched up and we got a glimpse of it on Saturday night.

On Saturday night, Sunny hosted a success bash for his recent blockbuster Gadar 2. The event saw the who’s who of Bollywood in attendance. The guest list boast almost every A-lister, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan amongst others. Shah Rukh arrived with wife Gauri Khan and even posed for the cameras.

While SRK was leaving the event, Sunny came outside to drop him. The two superstars posed for the shutterbugs, embracing each other. They had big smiles on their faces, hinting that all is well between them. Then afterwards, they even shared a hug and SRK escorted Sunny back inside. It’s great to see that two of the biggest superstars in India have sorted their differences.

Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol fight

For the unversed, SRK and Sunny starred together in Yash Chopra’s 1993 film Darr alongside Juhi Chawla. Their feud started from there as Sunny felt that Shah Rukh’s stalker character was ‘glorified’ more than his hero. He had addressed the issue on Aap Ki Adalat. Sunny had said, “My only issue with the film was that I did not know they would glorify the villain. I always work in films with an open heart and believe the person. I believe working with trust. Unfortunately, we have many actors and stars who don’t function in this manner. Maybe that’s the way they want to get their stardom.”

SRK and Sunny reportedly didn’t speak to each other for 16 years post Darr. However, recently Sunny had opened up on how they called each other to sort their differences. SRK even wished Sunny for Gadar 2 and the whole Khan family watched the film. Sunny served a blockbuster last month with Gadar 2 and now Shah Rukh is gearing up for another box office storm with Jawan this week.
