Shah Rukh Khan recreates ‘Deewana’ entry scene as he thanks fans for 27 ‘Awesome’ years

Shah Rukh Khan started his Bollywood journey 27 years back, and since then, he has continued to win hearts. SRK marked his Bollywood debut with Raj Kanwar’s ‘Deewana’ which starred Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti in the lead role. On completion of more than two decades in this film industry, Shah Rukh’s fans showered their best wishes and love on him.

In return of the fans’ sweet gesture, Shah Rukh thanked them by recreating the bike scene from his debut film. The actor shared the video on his Instagram handle, in which he is seen riding a BMW bike.

In the above video, the actor can be heard saying, “I want to say a big thank you for completing 27 years in the Hindi film cinema, which is exactly half my lifetime on Earth. I’ve been trying to entertain you for that many years and sometimes I have succeeded and many times I have failed. So, I want to thank you for bearing with me for so many years. Since, I came on a motorcycle in my first film called ‘Deewana’, singing ‘Koi Na Koi Chahiye’ and you allowed me into your hearts.”

“My friends at the motorcycle company have sent me two motorcycles to try out the stunts I did in ‘Deewana’ 27 years ago. So, I am going to give it a shot, but this time it is different. This time, I’ll make sure, I do it with a helmet. Always ride a motorcycle wearing a helmet. Love you,” he added further.

On the work front, Shah Rukh was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ which released last year. Post that, the actor is yet to announce his next film.
