Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Thalapathy, Salman Khan become the biggest taxpayers; here’s the top 10 list

Actor Shah Rukh Khan is a global icon and has fans across the globe. From his blockbuster films to his romantic charm, fans adore him and love him. Nevertheless, with so much love and recognition, SRK’s net worth is said to be a whopping Rs 7,300 crore. Now, as per Fortune India, Shah Rukh Khan is the biggest taxpayer actor in Bollywood. Reportedly, he paid a tax of ₹92 crore and is followed by actor Vijay Thalapathy who paid ₹80 crore as tax. Moreover, Salman Khan comes third in the list as he gave a tax of ₹75 crore.

Furthermore, Amitabh Bachchan who garnered immense appreciation for his performance in Kalki 2898 AD comes fourth in the list. He made a tax contribution of ₹71 crore. Cricketer Virat Kohli, who secured the fifth spot, paid ₹66 crore as tax which is followed by Ajay Devgn at the sixth spot. The Singham actor reportedly paid ₹42 crore as tax. Another sportsman MS Dhoni secures the seventh spot by paying a tax of ₹38 crore. Ranbir Kapoor who is now gearing up for Ramayana takes the 8th spot for making a tax payment of ₹36 crore. Both Hrithik Roshan and Sachin Tendulkar gave ₹28 crore as tax while taking up the 9th and 10th positions.

According to the report, other celebrities who made it to the top 20 list of taxpayers include Kapil Sharma with ₹26 crore. Sourav Ganguly at ₹23 crores, Kareena Kapoor at ₹20cr, Shahid Kapoor at ₹14 crore, and Hardik Pandya at ₹13 crore. Kiara Advani also made the list, paying ₹12 crore in taxes. Meanwhile, both Mohanlal and Allu Arjun contributed ₹14 crore each. Whereas Pankaj Tripathi and Katrina Kaif paid ₹11 crore each in taxes this year.
