When Shah Rukh Khan returned to the big screen with Pathaan last month, he broke all the records there were. What made the film more special was Salman Khan coming as Tiger in a cameo. His entry brought as much excitement as SRK’s entry did. With people loving them together so much, imagine the mayhem it would create if it was Shah Rukh Khan vs Salman Khan? Well, seems like Aditya Chopra is set to turn that imagination into reality.

Aditya Chopra’s epic two hero action film with SRK and Salman

Earlier it had been reported that Aditya Chopra is planning an epic two hero action film with SRK and Salman. Now, more details have come regarding that. A recent report in Pinkvilla had a source reveal, “The plot of this epic two hero crossover film featuring Tiger and Pathaan has been locked. The film will be the first proper 2 hero collaboration for the two mighty Khan’s since the release of Karan Arjun in 1995. The story of this Tiger – Pathaan two hero film has been developed by Aditya Chopra himself along with Shridhar Raghavan, who has been appointed by Adi as the Mentor Writer of the haloed YRF Spy Universe.“

Shah Rukh Khan vs Salman Khan in spy universe

Giving further information on the project, the source shared, “It’s going to be Tiger v/s Pathaan in this two-hero film. The film will be a face off between the two giant superstars of Indian Cinema, much like what happened between Iron Man and Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Batman vs Superman from the DC Universe.” While the team is busy on the post-production work of Tiger 3, work on this ambitious project will begin after that.

Shah Rukh and Salman have made cameos in each other’s films multiple times. Even in Salman’s Tiger 3, SRK has a cameo as Pathaan. However, it has happened twice that they have properly featured together in a film. First was Karan Arjun and then Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam. A reunion like this would surely shatter every record out there.

YRF spy universe

As for the spy universe, Aditya is creating it all with the help of writer Sridhar Raghavan. Till now, Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War and Pathaan have been the films under the universe. Shah Rukh, Salman and Hrithik Roshan are the three spies introduced in them. Apart from them, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff and John Abraham have also been prominent part of the spyverse.

Writer Sridhar had told Bollywood Bubble that the future of the universe can have any possibility. There will be new characters introduced as well as possible return of some characters that the audience might not even expect. The spy universe is indeed turning more exciting with each project. The next offering in it is Salman and Katrina’s Tiger 3, releasing this Diwali.
